TRAVEL : THE BEAUTIFUL ISLAND OF CYPRUS

Living in Cyprus, the northern side specifically opened me to the better part of my life, quite a memorable experience, for me leaving was because i needed a better environment to pursue my blogging career because out there, blogging isn't so lucrative like its become in nigeria now, that said. i'll be discussing about the people, language, job and education in Cyprus, this also would be helpful guide for anyone who likely would be visiting the country at any point in time.

PEOPLE
The people are receptive to foreigners, this is majorly because of language barrier, their indigenes don't speak English and so its pretty difficult relating to foreigners as they shy away and dodge you trying to talk to them.

LANGUAGE
Their language is Turkish and foreigners coming in to study are expected to learn the language to allow them communicate and relate easily with the nationals.

JOB
There are no jobs, its difficult getting one but if you know the language, its a plus and would increase your chances of been employed in case you find a vacancy.

EDUCATION
Schooling in cyprus, the first step is to search for a reliable agent accredited by the schools, back to the language issue, most schools in cyprus use agents to address the language barrier so you can have someone to relate with who his from your region and understands your needs. there are about 5 recognised universities in the country namely :

1. EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN UNIVERSITY (FAMAGUSTA)
2. CYPRUS INTERNATINAL UNIVERSITY (LEFKOSIA)
3. GIRNE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY (GIRNE)
4. EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF LEFKE (LEFKE)
5. AKDENIZ KARPAZ UNIVERSITY (LEFKOSIA)
